Sugar skull-ish Toothless

What can I say, I love painting in that vein! And this was a delight of all kinds. Painted in winter or spring 2015, it was a real challenge and one that I barely pulled through.

A fellow artist now owns this, and may I say it looks good on their shelf.

It is, of course, Toothles from "How to train your dragon", and as can be seen by the tail, from the second of the movies! I adore that stupid dragon, his looks and shenanigans and all of it!
....I think, maybe this could even be considered... fanart. My fourth or fifth or somesuch, in my life.

Again and as per usual, this has been photographed with a decent, not good, camera, and I didn't bother mucking about in any digital programme with it either. So, of course it looks better in real life, but I'm getting used to digital not representing real life very well, by now. At least not traditional painting.
