Sketch: Kyrie Urodela stuff

Description

My first foray into the Warhammer 40000 universe was through a roleplaying campaign. I created the character Kyrie, a "frag hag" who ramped up the highest kill-count on account of being fond of explosives and grenades. I really liked her, but the campaign eventually sort of died out. She lived on though, and was the first character I had to actually "write" out of my head - to stop thinking about her aaall the time, I wrote her diary.
This was a collection of stuff belonging to her. She started as a scrap hunter, became Inquisitorial henchwoman and after the campaign had ended she sort of lived on and in my head became an Inquisitor herself, of the Ordo Hereticus. "Urodela" is one of the Latin words for "salamander", which she took because she had a special bond with the Salamanders Space Marines.

I remember really liking her design, I still do. The little text in this sketch indicates that someone else mocked me because of her hair, and I was disappointed, hurt and sad. I think I remember who it was, and I'm still a bit miffed at him.

The stuff in the drawing all have significance - most is the design I supposed she might end up with as lightly armoured, other is just trying out ideas. The little box with the Salamander head used to contain the scale of a firedrake of Nocturne, but she had to cash in on that favour once... the W40K universe is a damn harsh place.

Drawn on A3 paper with 2B pencil, I think. Or possibly HB, and maybe some sort of mechanical pencil.

As (almost) all the other drawings and sketches here, it's fairly old and not entirely finished, but I didn't date it. It's probably from April 2008. And I just took a photo of it, no editing done whatsoever. I can't be bothered, it's impossible to transfer the details from paper to screen anyway.
